Alderley Speech Pathology & Occupational Therapy Fees

Cooee is a fee for service clinic.  Our hourly rate for services is $192 / hour, and all clinical services are billed.

Client Journey Planning Session Fees

All clients must attend a Client Journey Planning Session, as part of our intake process.  This session is specific to each therapy.

That means – if you attend a Speech Pathology Client Journey Planning Session, and decide you also want/need to attend Occupational Therapy – you will attend another Client Journey Planning Session with the Occupational Therapist.

Our Client Journey Planning sessions are booked for up to 60 minutes ($192) but can be reduced in length if clinically appropriate.  To understand what this session is, read the information on our Getting Started Page.

Speech Pathology Fees – Assessment & Intervention

During your Client Journey Planing Session, the Speech Pathologist will individualise an Assessment Plan based on the information you provide.     Please note: our Client Care team (receptionists) cannot provide this service, and will not book an assessment for you, without attending a Client Journey Planning Session.

  • You will need to share: background information, existing reports/documentation & come ready to discuss your reasons for accessing Speech Pathology & ideal goals.
  • The Speech Pathologist will use this information to customise your assessment phase recommendations.  This is a clinical service. They will discuss the reasons behind each test they recommend, and help customise a plan based on your expectations.
  • Speech Pathology Assessment Fees can range between $432 – $960  (All assessment phases are inclusive of a full report & 30 minute feedback session).
    • The assessments fees are based on the time required for the Speech Pathologist to conduct the tests with your child, analyse the results, and write the required documentation.
    • There are different types of standardised assessments, each suitable for different clinical reasons.  Your therapist will recommend the assessment based on your concerns & background information.
  • Speech Pathology Treatment Fees are charged at the hourly rate ($192/hr), and the recommended frequency of Face to Face services, as well as the required Indirect Services for each session (planning, preparation etc) are quoted during the Assessment Feedback Session.
    • We don’t charge a ‘set’ administrative fee to each appointment.  The Speech Pathologist will provide a quote for the administrative (Indirect) components of therapy specific to the goals families wish to work on.  Typically this ranges between 5-15 minutes per appointment, in addition to the Face to Face session fee.
    • Alternatives to Face to Face Therapy, e.g. Allied Health Assistant Therapy, Home Programming, Consultative Support or Parent Education can be provided as well as / in place of Speech Pathology Intervention in some cases.
