Where did you study?

University of Queensland Bachelor of Speech Pathology graduating in 2013.

Why did you get into paediatric speech pathology?

I love supporting families and watching children grow and develop. Many of my placements at University was within the paediatric population and drove my interest and desire to generalise my skills and provide SLP services for a diverse range of paediatric clients as well as teens and young adults.

Why do you love your job?

I feel that Speech Pathology offers a vital role in support and care to assist with children’s development. Everyday is different and every individual client is unique which comes with challenges but is a great achievement when I can guide clients and their families to achieve outcomes.

Favourite toys to use in therapy?

Pop the Pig, Magnetalk, Blocks, Lego.
